Passage 1 · Short passage
もんだい4 つぎの (1)から (3) の ぶんしょうを 読んで、しつもんにこたえてください。こたえは、1・2・3・4から いちばん いいものを 一つ えらんでください。
27. 「わたし」は 今日、何をしましたか。
Answer: 2. 友だちとDVDを買いに行きました。
Why: The writer went shopping with a friend to buy a film's DVD (友だちと買い物に行きました … DVDがほしかった). Watching it with friends and 姉 comes later.
Passage 2 · Short passage
もんだい4 つぎの (1)から (3) の ぶんしょうを 読んで、しつもんにこたえてください。こたえは、1・2・3・4から いちばん いいものを 一つ えらんでください。
29. 森さんは コピーを した あとで、本を どうしますか。
Answer: 4. 山口先生の机の上におきます。
Why: The memo says to leave the book on the teacher's desk (わたしの机の上においてください), because 山口先生 will return it to 中川先生 tomorrow.
Passage 3 · Short passage
もんだい4 つぎの (1)から (3) の ぶんしょうを 読んで、しつもんにこたえてください。こたえは、1・2・3・4から いちばん いいものを 一つ えらんでください。
28. わたしはがっこうへどうやっていきますか。
Answer: 3. バスで
Why: まいにちがっこうへバスでいきます answers it. でも、あるくのがすきです only says what the writer likes, not what they do.
Passage 4 · Mid-size passage
もんだい 5 つぎの ぶんしょうを 読んで、しつもんに こたえてください。こたえは、1・2・3・4から いちばん いい ものを 一つ えらんでください。
30. どうして こまりましたか。
Answer: 4. かさがなかったから
Why: Right before とてもこまりました, the passage says it was raining and the writer had no umbrella (かさがありませんでした).
31. 「わたし」は、あした どうしますか。
Answer: 1. かさをはこの中に入れます。
Why: The station worker says to put the umbrella back in the box tomorrow (あした、あのはこにかえしてください). No money is needed.
Passage 5 · Information retrieval
もんだい6 つぎのぶんを 読んで「社長のスケジュール」を見て、しつもんに こたえてください。こたえは1・2・3・4から いちばん いい ものを ひとつ えらんでください。
32. 午前中の 会議は どこで ありますか。
Answer: 3. 横浜支社です。
Why: The only morning item is the 10:00 to 12:00 meeting, and it is at 横浜支社.
